Jasmin Herro, Founder & CEO
Jasmin has owned and operated a number of businesses in various industries over the past 20 years, has received several awards from Supply Nation and was a finalist in the SBS Ethnic Business Awards.

Jasmin is an Indigenous Artist and author of a series of children’s books titled Teter Mek. She has also created a range of office and school supplies featuring her artwork Tjindgarmi, which tells the story of her native Torres Strait Island, her totem Tiger Shark and the wisdom and flexibility of the Octopus.

To contribute to the advancement of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, Jasmin formed the Teter Mek Foundation. This Foundation uses a percentage of profits from Tjindgarmi and Teter Mek, to create curriculum of teaching resources for schools. This curriculum gives teachers an opportunity to deliver meaningful activities which cultivate interest in Aboriginal Culture. It also encourages teachers and children to aspire to learn about the rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
